Frederic Pels (1995, BE) is an artist based in Antwerp, Belgium. Works within reconstructed docu-fictional frameworks in which elements of reality and fiction are deliberately intertwined. Through scenography, manipulation and intervention, he creates images and environments that appear familiar yet subtly disorienting. This approach allows him to make tangible the often intangible side effects of an imminent or post-apocalyptic world. Graduated MA Photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp.
